EDI 259 is an ANSI X12 transaction set that contains information about mortgage insurance claims. This EDI document is used for transmitting results of mortgage claims, which are known as “an explanation of benefits”, EOB. The mortgage can either be pool mortgage insurance claims and primary mortgage insurance claims.
An EDI solution is used to map information to EDI 259 format, as well as to parse the EDI messages received.
